Adding traces to contact notes of an A/R account

When you have an important conversation with the contact of a property A/R account, you can record the conversation as a Contact note in the Notes tab. You can then link a trace to the Contact note to follow up. The Contact note is then viewable on the trace record in the Traces tab.

The trace must be set up on the Traces tab prior to linking it. You can only add a trace to a note that type is Contact.

To add traces to a Contact note:

  1. Select Accounts Receivable > Property A/R Accounts > Notes.
  2. Select a Contact note record to link a trace to.
  3. Click Actions and then click Traces.
  4. Select the information that you require.
  5. Click Submit
