Reinstating a reservation

You can reinstate a reservation in the No Show status, and in case of a mistake, reverse a check-in, check-out or cancellation activity that has been carried out on a guest stay record . Reinstating a reservation sets the guest stay record to its original status. For example, reversing the check-in process sets the guest stay record from In-house to the Reserve status.

Note: You can reinstate a reservation only if the arrival date is same as the hotel date.

To reinstate a reservation:

  1. Select Front Desk > Guest Stay.
  2. Select a guest stay record that you want to reinstate.
  3. Click the button corresponding to the action that you want to perform on the guest stay record. The Reinstate Reservation pop-up is displayed.
