Checking out a guest from a guest reservation

Check out a guest directly from the Record View tab of the Guest Stay screen.

To check out a guest from a guest reservation:

  1. Select Front Desk > Guest Stay.
  2. On the List View tab, double-click the guest stay record to work with.
  3. Click Check Out. If the property parameter DYUSERSSRVCTYP is checked and the guest stay was a day use you will be prompted to set the room status and service type of the room.
    Note: If the guest has an outstanding balance on their account, if an early check-out requires a charge offset, or if an early check-out causes a conflict with a share, a message is displayed in the message bar asking whether to continue checking-out the guest. Click Yes to continue checking-out the guest. Click No to cancel the check-out.
