Housekeeping Cleaning Schedule

This report will forecast the cleaning schedule for rooms that are either currently occupied or are blocked for incoming reservations. The report includes room, room type, building, wing, floor, exposure, section, and sequence then will display the cleaning schedule (Service Type) based on the date entered plus six days for a total of seven days. The report then includes a summary of rooms per each service type and a summary of incoming reservations that do not have rooms assigned (blocked).

The service types are represented using the following indicators:

  • CI = The room is blocked for a guest due for check in
  • CO = The room is occupied by a guest due to check out
  • CI/CO = The room is blocked for a guest due to check in, and is still occupied by a guest due to check out
  • DU = The room is a day use room (occupied by in-house guest stay with same arrival and departure date)
  • FULL = The room is due for full service
  • LS = The room is due for light service
  • NONE = No room service exists

You can filter the report by specifying the building, exposure, section, sequence, and wing. You can optionally include vacant rooms. You can optionally not include the unassigned reservation summary. You can limit the report to only rooms due out today, and only rooms blocked for today. You can sort the report by building, room, section, or sequence.

The following are some of the important points to be noted:

  • Rooms will be printed according to the housekeeping sort order set for each room in the room configuration. If no housekeeping sort order is set the rooms will be sorted by room number in ascending order.
  • The report uses the guest stay cleaning schedule, if one does not exist the property default cleaning schedule is used.
  • The check-in day (Arrival) is not considered a cleaning day and will be displayed as "CI". The cleaning schedule starts on the day after arrival.
  • Any cleaning schedule combination where one guest stay record is checking out followed by another guest stay record checking in for the same room, will be counted as one cleaning service type. The records will not be separated under each service type but will display under their own unique total line.
