Maintaining interface text

Maintain interface text to add and modify text to support interfaces with external sources such as Global Distribution Systems (GDS). Interface text is primarily used to manage text to print on outbound guest confirmations generated by a GDS. Each GDS-specific field is associated with a different Text Type. Interface Text is logically divided into text lines separated by a line feed character.

To maintain interface text:

  1. Select Administration > Configuration > Interface Text.
  2. In the Property Info section, click Property Select and specified the property for which to maintain interface text . The specified property is displayed in the Property field in the header area of the screen.
  3. In the Action column of the Interface Text Types section, click the checkbox adjacent to the code to add or modify. The Interface Text Detail section shows the detailed text information of the code to modify.
  4. Specify this information:
    Interface Text
    Specify the text to display for the selected code.
  5. Click Save.
    Note: Click Undo Changes to undo any modifications you make to the interface text prior to saving the record.
