Creating a deck menu

Use the Deck Menu tab to create a deck of screens. You must specify the deck description. You can select up to 7 screens that must be displayed in the deck. You can create a sliding deck menu for each property department.

You must use the BSSCSL screen code to create a sliding deck of screens. If you want to create more than one sliding deck menu, use Copy Record to copy the BSSCSL screen. You can specify new code and description to the copied screen but still the Parent field must be defaulted to the code BSSCSL. Only BSSCSL screen codes can be copied and used to create a sliding deck of screens.

To use the new deck, you must drag and drop the new deck from the User Group page, in the menu from where you want to use the new deck. For example, drag and drop the new deck in the Front Desk menu.

Note: You must log out and log in again to view the created deck.

To create a deck menu:

  1. Select Administration > Setup > Screens.
  2. Click the Deck Menu tab.
  3. Specify this information:
    Screen Order
    Specify the order in which you want to display the screen.
    Screen Name
    Specify the screen name. The screen description is displayed by the system.
  4. Click Save to add the screen to the menu.
