Applying an Amenity Template

You can use the Apply Amenity Template screen to select and apply the new or existing amenity template and the amenity items to the amenity associated with the guest reservation.

To apply an Amenity Template:

  1. Select Front Desk > Guest Stay.
  2. Select the guest stay record on the List View tab. The Record View tab is displayed.
  3. Click Amenities. The Amenities screen is displayed.
  4. Click Template field in the Amenities section. The Apply Amenity Template screen is displayed.
  5. Specify this information in the Apply Amenity Template screen:
    Amenity Template
    The Amenity Template that must be linked to the amenity associated with the guest reservation.
    .
    Maximum Amenity Selection
    The maximum number of the amenities that you can select simultaneously.
    Note: 

    The value is defaulted from the Amenity Template screen and you cannot modify the value.

  6. Select single or multiple amenity items configured for the selected Amenity template, from the detail section that displays all the amenity items with Active status.
  7. Review this information in the Detail section:
    Item
    The item name and description associated with the selected amenity template.
    Category
    The category to classify the amenities.
    Sub-Category
    The sub-category associated with the amenity. Only the sub-category values configured for the category are displayed.
    Quantity
    The quantity of the amenity items.
  8. Select single or multiple amenity items.
  9. Click Submit.
    Note: The number of the amenity items selected must be the same as or less than the value specified in the Maximum Amenity Selection field.
    Note: Including Amenity Template: When you include the Associations such as Room Plan, or Room Type, or Loyalty Level for the guest reservation the Amenity process reviews and links the Amenity Template with the Reservation based on the Apply Template Rule of the Amenity Template.
    • The Arrival Date of the guest reservation must be same or within the Amenity Start Date and Amenity End Date.
    • You can link multiple Amenity Template to the guest reservation.
    • When the reservation date is modified, the existing Amenity Template is removed.
