Consumption Report

The report displays the number of the package items (non-room items) and the consumption related data for the package item. The non-room item data is retrieved from the Guest Stay screen and the consumption data is retrieved from the guest folio. The report can be generated to display the summary of the consumption related data. The report also includes the guest and transaction details related to the package items (non-room items). For Floating items, the consumption and allowance details are displayed based on the dates when the items are consumed. Floating items are the items that are consumed over several dates.

The report is developed, based on the requirements of the guest and therefore can be provided to the guest.

The report includes these sections that display the item quantity details:

• The Consumed in Allowance Record section displays the sum of all the quantities in the Consumption Record Section. The Allowance quantity is displayed if the sum of all the consumed items in the Consumption Record Section is higher than the Allowance. The Allowance quantity is the maximum quantity of the package items that is allowed for a guest.
• The Remaining in Allowance Record Section displays the difference in quantity between the Allowance and the Consumed in the Allowance Record Section. If the sum of all the consumed items in the Consumption Record Section is higher than the Allowance, the difference in quantity is displayed in the Overage column of the Allowance Record Section and in the Consumption Record Section.
• The Total Consumed section displays the sum of all the consumption charges posted to the folio.
• The Total Allowance section displays the sum of all Package items that are configured as Consumption.
• The Remaining Consumption section displays the difference between the allowance quantity and the consumed quantity when Allowance is greater than the Consumed quantity.
• The Consumption Overage section displays the sum of all overage charges posted to the folio.
