NF525 Manual Data Integrity Check

Use the NF525 Manual Data Integrity Check screen to launch the data integrity check for a selected date range. The data integrity check related information is used by the tax auditors. You can execute the integrity check on the HMS tables or archive the integrity check for a selected file.

To launch the data integrity check:

  1. Select Administration > Property > NF525 Manual Data Integrity Check.
  2. Select the Data Integrity Check option to specify the Start Date and the End Date for which the check is performed.
    Note: 
    • By default, this option is selected.
    • By default, the Start Date and the End Date are set to a day prior to the Hotel Date.
    • The End Date must be the same as or later than the Start Date.
    • The Start Date and End Date fields are enabled only if the Data Integrity Check option is selected.
  3. Select the Archive Integrity Check option to specify a file in the File Name for which the check is performed. To access the file, you must copy the archive file and the corresponding signature list file from the property archive. The application compares the archive file signature with that of the signature list file.
    Note: 
    • The File Name field is enabled only if the Archive Integrity Check option is selected.
  4. Click Submit.
    Note: The FRANCENF525COMPMODE parameter must be selected on the Parameter tab on the Property Configuration screen to enable the Submit button.
  5. Click Yes. The application launches any one of these checks:
    • The Data Integrity check includes
      • The Hash Violation check program.
      • The Electronic Signature Violation check program.
    • The Archive Integrity Check
    • An Event log is generated in case of integrity violation.The records are added to the Event Log (Event Code 90). These records are electronically signed.
    • When the check is completed, the record is added to the P5EventLog table (Event Code 100, Event Type “Integrity Check”, Event Information “Data Integrity Check from <Start Date> to <End Date> is finished”). These records are electronically signed.
