Adding rules to the offer

Use this screen to set rules for the offer associated with the reservations.

This screen allows a manager to set rules to override errors returned from the partner offer system when validating, reserving, or redeeming offers. These rules can be set:

  • No Override: The application displays the error as returned from the offer. You can no longer use the offer.
  • Prompt to override: The application displays the error. However, you can override the error and use the offer.
  • Automatically Override: The application allows you to use the offer.

To add rules to a reservation template:

  1. Select Administration > Property > Setup > Reservation Template > Error Rules.
  2. Click New Record.
  3. Specify this information:
    Error Code/Name
    The code and description of the existing or new error type to validate the offer
    Override Type
    The override type that can be used to apply rules to the offer. See Reservation Templates.
  4. Click Save.
