CRS Confirmation Letter

This report creates confirmation letters for guest reservations in Reserved status with an arrival date within the specified date range. Confirmation letters are typically e-mailed or mailed to the guest when a reservation is made from the call center. The confirmation letter can be sent from the guest stay record, or a batch of confirmation letters can be printed from the Reports menu. The confirmation letter includes reservation information, a reservation summary, charges summary, stay segment details, guest preferences, enhanced experience items, hotel policies, special requests, comments, billing information, and transportation details.

When confirmation letters are printed from the Reports menu, you can filter by confirmation number and locale. You can optionally set the specified date range to be based off the reservation date or the guest arrival date. You can optionally include guest stay records in In-House, Checked Out, and Waitlist statuses.

The following are some important points to be noted:

  • When there is no data to display for special requests, comments, or transporation details the section headers for them will not print thereby making it possible for the confirmation letter to be printed on one page.
  • When the guest has preferences, any preference descriptors that exist for the preference code will display.
