Setting up lease functionality

To use lease functionality at your property it must be licensed and configuration must be done in multiple screens. The steps below assume your property is licensed, the menu options have been created for the user groups requiring access, the associated fields used have been added using Screen Designer to the associated screens, and that the configuration of all necessary transaction codes is completed.

  1. Select Administration > Configuration > Global Codes. Review global code status for these code types:
    • Lease Deposit Activity Type
    • Lease Fee Posting Option
    • Lease Fee Type
    • Lease Invoice Sequence Type
    • Lease Invoice Type
    • Lease Period Status
    • Lease Print Options
    • Lease Room Status

    Optionally add global codes for the Lease Category code type.

  2. Select Administration > Property > Property Configuration. Select a property and click the Parameters tab, then review/set these property parameters:

  3. Select Administration > Property > Lease Configuration. Configure lease settings.
  4. Set up pro forma print options. See Setting up lease record pro forma print options.
  5. Select Rate and Sales > Pricing > Leasing Rate. Configure leasing rates. See Configuring leasing rates, Adding rate periods to a leasing rate, Associating room types to a leasing rate period, and Copying a leasing rate period to another rate period.
  6. Select Administration > Property > Sequence Numbers. Click the Lease tab, specify the information that you require. See Setting up sequence numbers.
