Cancelling the reservation

  1. Click the ellipses in the Information pane of the Call Center screen. The Cancellation Reason window is displayed..
  2. Specify this information in the Cancellation Reason window:
    Cancellation Note
    The additional information related to cancellation of the reservation.
    Cancellation Reason
    The reason for cancelling the reservation. For example, family emergency.
    Cancellation Policy
    The description of the cancellation policy, if applicable for the reservation.
    Cancellation Text
    The additional information related to the cancellation policy.
    Note: The Cancellation Policy and Cancellation Text are populated based on the policy associated with the reservation.
  3. Click OK. The status of the reservation is updated to Cancelled.
    Note: When the deposit is forfeited for a reservation, the forfeit amount is displayed on the Confirmation screen and on the Advance Deposit tab of the Guest Account screen of HMS.
