Adding Coupons to guest

Coupons are added to different screens of guest reservation or details across HMS.
Note: The VVIP functionality is applied to the Coupon tab of Guest Stay screen.
To add coupons for the primary or additional guests for a scheduled reservation or for property rate plans:
  1. Select Front Desk > Guest Stay/Group Booking/ Organization Profile/Booking Agency Profile/Property Rate Plan > Coupons. Also, select Administration > Property > Set up > Reservation Template > Coupons
  2. Select the guest stay record to add coupons to the guests(primary/additional/associated).
  3. Click Add.
  4. Specify this information:
    Coupon ID
    The unique coupon ID used to create a coupon.
    Valid Start Date
    The date from which the coupon is effective for use.
    Valid End Date
    The date from which the coupon cannot be redeemed any more.
    Coupon Type
    The coupon type is used by the guest for any kind of discounted rates to get privilege in any restaurants of other guest activities.

    This coupon type is added using the Global codes screen.

    Select the required coupon type.

    Guest Name
    The Guest name or guest ID to issue the coupon.
    Player Card Number
    The card number as assigned by an integrated casino management system.
    Player Number
    The player identification number as assigned by an integrated casino management system.
    Status
    The status of the coupon.

    By default, the field is set to Active.

  5. If the Individual Coupon check box is selected, the report is printed based on the number of single coupon copies specified for the guest or group booking.
  6. If the Bulk check box is selected, the report is printed based on the different coupon copies specified for the group booking.
  7. Click Save.
  8. Click Print Coupons to printed coupon report.
  9. Click Reprint Coupons to view the reprinted text for the selected coupons.
  10. Click Print Coupon History to view the Coupon History report.
