Generating the Transaction Code Report

To generate the Transaction Code Report:

  1. Select Administration > Reports > Comp Accounting > Transaction Code Report.
  2. Specify this information in the Report Parameters section:
    Property
    The property code for which the report is generated. This value is defaulted.
    Note: 

    You can modify this value.

    Transaction Department
    The code of the department responsible for the transaction.
    Note: 

    The report only includes the department with Active status.

    Output Format
    The format in which the report is generated.
    Note: 
    • The default value is PDF. However, you can modify this value.
    • The report includes the subtotal amount for the transaction date and transaction department grouping only if the field is set to PDF.
  3. Set these parameters in the Report Options section.
    Print Summary
    If this check box is selected, the application combines the transactions with the same transaction date and transaction code and displays the total transaction amount in the report.
    Note: 

    By default, this check box is cleared. However, you can modify this value.

    Include A/R Ledger
    If this check box is selected, the report includes the transactions from the A/R account.
    Note: 

    By default, this check box is selected. However, you can modify this value.

    Include Comp Information
    Select this check box to include the values of the Comp Amount and Comp Data fields in the report.
    Note: The charges with multiple comps display a combined comp amount, latest comp date and comp authorizer.
  4. Select the Start Date and the End Date in the Date Range section.
    Note: 

    By default, the Start Date and the End Date are set to the Hotel Date.

  5. Click Print Record.
    Note: 

    By default, the report is sorted by the Transaction Code. However, you can also sort the report by the GL Account.
