Adding the optional report parameters

  1. Select Administration > Setup > Reports. The Reports screen is displayed.
  2. Select the Report on the dataspy.
  3. Click the Parameters tab. The list of optional report parameters associated with the report are displayed in the List View.
  4. Click Add Parameter.
  5. Specify this information:
    Line
    The unique line number of the parameter.
    Note: The value must be 500 or more than 500.
    Parameter
    The name of the parameter.
    Note: The format must be OPT_<name>.
    Data Type
    The attribute (data type) of the parameter.
    Length
    The maximum length of the parameter.
    Mandatory
    Select this check box to indicate that this parameter is required for the selected HMS report.
    Parameter Default
    The value based on which the application generates the report.
  6. Click Save.
