Creating fiscal periods

  1. Select Administration > Configuration > Fiscal Period Configuration. The Fiscal Period Configuration screen in displayed.
  2. Specify this information:
    Year
    The year for which the fiscal periods are created.
    Fiscal Year Start
    The start date of the fiscal year.
    Fiscal Year End
    The end date of the fiscal year.
    13 Fiscal Periods
    Select this check box to generate thirteen fiscal periods. When selected, the system automatically divides the fiscal year into thirteen fiscal periods based on the fiscal year start date and fiscal year end date.
  3. Click Generate Periods. The fiscal periods are generated for the year.
    Note: You can use the Run option to view the fiscal periods for the selected year in the list.
