Searching for a player

You can search for and select a player profile from HMS or an external player tracking system using the Guest Stay screen. This screen is used to retrieve and populate player profile details, such as guest name, address, and player number.

When the CMSINTG property parameter is enabled, external player profiles are also displayed in the Guest Search window.

If the CTRLSEGM install parameter is set, additional data is retrieved when the user selects a player profile. Based on the CTRLSEGM value, the system retrieves and populates the Control Segment and ADT fields in addition to the standard player profile fields.

The value in the Control Segment and ADT fields depends on the CTRLSEGM property parameter:
  • HMSAPI - The data is retrieved using the HMS API
  • HMSINT - The data is retrieved from the HMS Control Segment table. This data is uploaded by the customer.
  • ALTCSPHR - The data is retrieved through the third-party interface for Atlantis Monarch Casino hotel.
  • FALSE – Control Segment and ADT values are not retrieved.

If no values are found, the player is still selected, and the Control Segment and ADT fields remain blank.

To search a player:

  1. Select Front Desk > Guest Stay.
  2. Click New Record.
  3. Click the Guest Search icon adjacent to the Last Name field.
  4. Specify the information that you require. See additional details about these fields:
    External Search
    Select External Search to search the external player tracking system.
  5. Click Search
  6. Select a record.
  7. Click Ok.
