Configuring resort fee rate for a room type
You can configure the resort fee rates for a room type using the Rate Configuration tab.
- Select Administration > Property > Setup > Resort Fee Definitions. The Resort Fee screen is displayed.
- Click the Price Schedule option in the Resort Fee Details section. A window is displayed.
- Select the required rate periods in the Rate Periods tab.
- Click the Rate Configuration tab.
- Specify this information:
- Room Type Category
- The category under which the room type is classified. Note: This field is enabled only if the Room Type field is not specified.
- Room type
- The type of the room. Note: This field is enabled only if the Room Type Category field is not specified
- Pricing Type
- The pricing type that determines how rates are applied to the resort fee.
Possible values:
- Amount
- Percent
- Amount
- The resort fee amount to be specified for the room type.Note: This field is enabled only if the value in the Pricing Type field is set to Amount.
- Percentage
- The resort fee percentage that is applied to the room type.
Note: This field is enabled only if the Pricing Type field is set to Percent.
- Minimum
- The minimum amount that is applied to the room type.
- Maximum
- The maximum amount that is applied to the room type.
- Click Apply. The resort fee details are displayed in the table.

Note: The Rate Configuration tab is enabled when a rate period is selected.
