Configuring resort fee rate for a room type

You can configure the resort fee rates for a room type using the Rate Configuration tab.

  1. Select Administration > Property > Setup > Resort Fee Definitions. The Resort Fee screen is displayed.
  2. Click the Price Schedule option in the Resort Fee Details section. A window is displayed.
  3. Select the required rate periods in the Rate Periods tab.
  4. Click the Rate Configuration tab.
  5. Specify this information:
    Room Type Category
    The category under which the room type is classified.
    Note: This field is enabled only if the Room Type field is not specified.
    Room type
    The type of the room.
    Note: This field is enabled only if the Room Type Category field is not specified
    Pricing Type
    The pricing type that determines how rates are applied to the resort fee. Possible values:
    • Amount
    • Percent
    Amount
    The resort fee amount to be specified for the room type.
    Note: This field is enabled only if the value in the Pricing Type field is set to Amount.
    Percentage
    The resort fee percentage that is applied to the room type.
    Note: This field is enabled only if the Pricing Type field is set to Percent.
    Minimum
    The minimum amount that is applied to the room type.
    Maximum
    The maximum amount that is applied to the room type.
  6. Click Apply. The resort fee details are displayed in the table.
  7. Click Save.
    Note: The Rate Configuration tab is enabled when a rate period is selected.
