Associating rate plans with a reservation template

Use the Allowed Rate Plans tab to associate one or more property rate plans with a reservation template. You can select one of the associated rate plans as the default rate plan.

Note: The specified rate plans are used to limit rate selection only when the Use Allowed Rate Plans check box is selected on the Reservation Template screen.

Associating rate plans with a reservation template:

Select Administration > Property > Setup > Reservation Template. The Reservation Template screen is displayed.
Select the reservation template for which you want to configure allowed rate plans.
Select the Use Allowed Rate Plans check box.

Note: When you select this check box, the application clears and protects the Rate Plan field.
Click Save.

Note: A warning message is displayed If you select the Use Allowed Rate Plans check box without configuring an allowed rate plan.
Select the Allowed Rate Plans tab.
Click New Record.
Specify this information:

Rate Plan

The property rate plan to associate with the reservation template.

Rate Plan Name

The name of the selected rate plan.

Default Rate Plan

Select this check box to use the rate plan as the default rate plan for the reservation template.

Note: When you associate the first-rate plan with the reservation template, the application automatically selects the Default Rate Plan check box.
Click Save.

Note: You cannot associate the same rate plan with the reservation template more than once.
