Sundry Order

You can use the Sundry Order screen to order sundry items such as beverages, snacks or souvenirs for the guest.

The sundry item names are displayed in titles and items are arranged based on categories and types. Each item category is segregated by item types, and each item type contains the associated items. The item categories are displayed in the Item Categories section, and the item types are displayed in the Item Type section.
Note: You must configure the item categories in the SICATG global code and the item types in the SITYPE global code, on the Global Codes screen.

If a modifier is associated with an item on the Sundry Items screen, the Modifier window is displayed when you click an item tile. You can select the Modifier Type and the required Modifier Items on this window, to add the modifier to the item.

You can use the Items field to search for an item. To add the item in the Shopping Cart section, you must specify a location in the Location field. This location cannot be modified if the item exists in the Shopping Cart section. You can also use the barcode scanner to scan and add an item in this section.

The selected items with prices are displayed in the Shopping Cart section. The total amount is displayed at the bottom of this section. You can perform these actions in this section:
  • Modify the quantity of a selected item in the Qty column using the + and - icons.
  • Modify or add additional modifiers to existing items in the shopping cart from the More menu.
  • Delete an item using the Delete option from the More menu.
  • Add a description in the Description window, using the Description option.
  • Post a payment, using the Post Payment option.
When you click the Post Payment option, the Method of Payment window is displayed with these options:
  • Cash: The payment is made, using cash.
  • Credit Card: The payment is made, using a credit card.
  • Room Charge: The payment is posted as a room charge.
  • House Account: The payment is posted to the folio of the house account.
On this screen, you can also use these options:
  • Back: To view the previous section.
  • Purchase: To clear the list in the Shopping Cart section.
  • Print: To print a check. See, Sundry Receipt.
  • Check: To view the Checks section wherein a list of checks is displayed. This list includes details such as check number, transaction code and amount.
In the Check section, you can:
  • Filter the list using the Clock icon.
  • Refund a sundry item using the Return option from the More menu. See, Refunding a sundry item.
Note: If you select an item with negative quantity, a confirmation message is displayed. If you click Yes, the item is added to the Shopping Cart section.
