Pre-Arrival Rooms

Use the Pre-Arrival Rooms screen to create and manage rooms that are assigned to a guest stay prior to the arrival of the guest. The guest stay status must be set to Reserved or Pre-Registered.

The room related data is displayed on the screen:
  • Pre-Arrival room number
  • Confirmation number
  • Status
  • Message
You can use these options from the Actions menu:
  • Add Rooms: To add a pre-arrival room. See, Adding a pre-arrival room
  • Set to Out of Service: To set the status of a pre-arrival room to Out of Service.
  • Set to Available: To set the status of a pre-arrival room to Available.
  • Delete: To delete a pre-arrival room.
Note: 
  • If the specified room number is same as the pre-arrival room number, an error message is displayed.
  • You can create an additional end of day process to manage the pre-arrival rooms by setting the Process Link field to PREARM on the Additional End of Day Processes screen. This additional end of day process deletes all reservations for pre-arrival room with the guest stay status set to a value other than Pre-Registered or Reserved.
