Generating Guest Messages Report
This report displays guest messages that are created on the Guest Stay, Message tab.
This report is used by Front Desk Staff, Night Auditors in the hotel.
To generate the report:
- Select Administration > Reports > Front Desk > Guest Messages Report.
- Select the property for which the report is generated. The application defaults this value.

Specify this information in the Report Parameter section to
filter the report:
- Confirmation Number
- The confirmation number generated for the guest stay.
- Name
- The guest name.
- Room
- The room number assigned to the guest.
For Reserved guests, the report displays the room configured for the Arrival Date. For Checked-Out guests, the report displays the room configured for the departure date. For guest accounts that do not have a room configured, the room field displays a blank.
- Building
- The building code assigned to the room.
- Floor
- The floor code assigned to the room.
- Wing
- The wing code assigned to the room.
- Message ID
- The message text as provided in the guest stay record. Based on this value the report is filtered.
- Specify the guest stay statuses as; Cancelled, Checked-Out, In-House, No-Show, Pre-Registration, Reserved, and Waitlist to filter the report.

Specify the type of data that must be printed in the report in the Report
Options section:
- Include New Messages
- If this checkbox is selected, the report includes guest messages with the New status marked on the Message tab of the Guest Stay record.
- Include Completed Messages
- If this checkbox is selected, the report includes guest messages with the Completed status as marked on the Message tab of the Guest Stay record. The report displays Delivered for a message that has Completed status.
- Include Cancelled Messages
- If this checkbox is selected, the report includes guest messages with the Cancelled status as marked on the Message tab of the Guest Stay record.
- Mark Message Complete
- If this checkbox is selected, the report includes guest messages with the Cancelled status as marked on the Message tab of the Guest Stay record.
- Sort the report by selecting guest name or room number.
- Specify the Start Date and the End Date in the Date Range section.
- Click Print Record.
