Creating Inclusive Revenue Distribution

Use this screen to allocate the percentage values to each revenue type.

Note: To round off the left-over amount from the specified percentage, if any, the application assigns this remaining amount to the Room Revenue Type during the posting process.

To view the inclusive revenue distribution details:

  1. Access the Inclusive Revenue Distribution tab from the Property Rate Plan screen.
  2. On the List View tab, select a record and click the Inclusive Revenue Distribution tab.
  3. In the Inclusive Revenue Distribution section, specify this information:
    Effective Date
    Select the date of the distribution for a specific rate plan. This date is considered as the period start date for the associated revenue distribution.
    Note: The distribution specified for dates in the past, is not considered.
    Distribution Code
    Select the transaction code. This transaction code will appear on the guest folio.
    Status
    Select this status. The available options are:
    • Active
    • Inactive

    When an Inactive period is set to Active, the application considers the period as a new period.

    Note: You cannot modify the status, when:
    • Effective Date is set to a date in the past.
    • Rate Plan is in use.
  4. Specify the percentage values for these revenue distributions:
    • Tip
    • Room
    • Food
    • Beverage
    • Banquet
    • Event
    • Other

    These values are set for a specific rate plan and can be associated to a selected property.

  5. Click Save.
