Setting up resort fee functionality

To use resort fee functionality at your property you must have a transaction code for the resort fee, have the room charge transaction codes set to include a resort fee, and configure resort fee definitions. Optionally, you can set a property parameter to indicate what resort fee definition code should be the default.

To set up resort fee functionality:

  1. Create a transaction code for the posing of resort fees. Adding a property transaction code
  2. Update room charge transaction codes to post resort fees by checking the resort fee check box. Modifying a property transaction code

  4. Optionally, update the property's RESORTFEE parameter with the default resort fee definition code. You can choose to not set a default and then require that a user manually specify a Resort Fee code on the Guest Stay record as needed.Defining property parameters
