Transferring sundry inventory

You use the Inventory List page to view inventory of sundry items by location, adjust inventory of sundry items, and to transfer inventory among locations within the same property. You can only transfer inventory to a location that is Active.

The page contains two action buttons:

  • Process: The received order is processed and is then available in inventory and can be viewed in the Inventory List page.
  • Cancel: This button is only available when an order is being processed. It is used to cancel the processing of the order.
Note: To view total inventory of an item for all locations, use the Sundry Inventory Report.

To transfer sundry inventory to another location:

  1. Select Administration > Property > Sundry > Inventory List.
  2. On the List View, select a sundry item by location.
  3. Click the Inventory Transfer tab.
  4. Specify the information that you require. See additional information about these fields:
    To Location
    Specify the location code in the first field. Specify the location name in the second field.
    Transfer Quantity
    Specify the quantity to be transferred to the new location. The quantity cannot be more than the available quantity.
  5. Click the Process.
  6. Click Save.
