Adding contracts to booking agency profiles
You use the contracts action button to add contracts to a booking agency profile.
To add contracts to a booking agency profile:
- Select Profiles > Booking Agency Profiles.
- On the List View tab, select a booking agency profile.
- On the Record View tab, click the Contracts action button.

In the Contracts page, specify the information that you require.
See additional information on these fields:
- Release Days
- Specify the release days. This is the default release days if no release schedule exists for contract dates in the bottom section.
- Impacts Availability
- Select to have the allocation removed from house availability.
- Rate Plan
- Specify the rate plan. Options include the rate plans added in the Negotiated Rates tab.
- Initial Status
- The initial status defaults to open. When the overall allocation or overall min house limits are reached the status changes to closed. The initial status can be set to closed until reservations are allowed.
- Free Sell
- Select to allow free selling of rooms without limit until the limit set in the Overall Min House field is reached.
- Overall Allocation
- Specify the overall allocation, the total number of rooms that can be sold. The number can be higher than the actual rooms available to allow overselling where the Overall Min House is not specified. When this is specified the Free Sell check-box is unchecked.
- Overall Min House
- Specify the overall minimum house, reservations can be made for the contract until the house availability reaches this number. Once the number is reached the allocation is closed.
- Optionally, in the bottom half of the screen you can specify release days by date range of the contract by clicking Add Date Range. If no release days are specified then the release days specified in the Release Days field is the default.

Note: To add another contract select New Contract. Contracts cannot be deleted. To edit an existing contract select the contract from the Contracts drop-down menu.
