Modifying the status of a group booking

You can modify the status of a group booking as Prospect, Tentative, Definite, In-House, or Checked-Out. The status buttons that are available is limited by the group's current status:

  • You can modify a group with Prospect status to Tentative, Definite, or Cancelled.
  • You can modify a group with Tentative status to Definite, Cancelled, or In-House where the start date is the current hotel date.
  • You can modify a group booking with Definite status to Cancelled, or to In-House where the start date is the current hotel date.
  • You can check-in the guest by clicking the Check-In icon. The status is updated to In-House.
    Note: When you select the Check In option, a warning message is displayed, and you must transfer the deposit manually if:
    • The BLOCKDEPOSITTRNSTOGUESTLEDGER property parameter is set to Fully or CheckIn,
    • A pending deposit balance exists for the guest stay.

To modify the status of a group booking:

  1. Select Group Sales > Group Booking.
  2. On the List View tab, select a group booking.
  3. Click the status action button that you require.
  4. Click Save Record.
