Generating tax invoices

You can use the Tax Invoicing tab to view, print, generate and correct tax invoices. Tax invoices are primarily generated for guest accounts. It is also used for accounts such as, Group, Events, and etc. Tax invoices are not generated for special accounts like Gift Cards or Direct accounts. The Tax Invoicing tab displays all the previously generated invoices. The tab also displays pending invoices that have never been generated or may have been generated before as informational invoices only. You can generate separate tax invoices for each different folio, based on the following rules:

  • Folios with un-invoiced charges are invoiced.
  • The Accounting folio is never invoiced.
  • The A/R folio is always invoiced separately. The folio balance is not considered. The invoice payer is A/R, which is specified in the Folio Details section.
  • If a folio has a payer specified in the Folio Details section, and has a zero balance, the folio is invoiced separately. The payer in folio settlement is used as the invoice payer.
  • If a payer is not specified in the folio details, and has a zero balance, the folio is invoiced separately. The invoice payer is the guest.
  • Use the Void option from the Actions menu to void a final invoice.
  • For a pending invoice, if the Activity type is set to Deposit on the Advance Deposit tab you can use the Re-invoice option from the Actions menu to correct the pending invoice without refunding the amount to the card.
  • To enable the Re-invoice option, you must set the TAXINV property parameter to True and TAXINVATPAYMENT property parameter toFalse.
  • If the remaining folios have a combined zero balance, the folios are invoiced together. The invoice payer is the guest.
  • You can select the signed documents from the Actions option only if the global code SREGCD is active.
  • You can print or send the selected invoice to a device only if the property parameter SIGNATURECAPTUREINVOICE is selected. However, this feature is not applicable on the Front Desk – Tax Invoice tab and A/R Account – Invoice tab.
    • The invoices are printed based on the report parameters specified in the property parameter TAXIIO or TAXINO or TAXCRO or TAXDPO or the Currency Exchange Receipt.
    • The invoice is printed or sent to device after completion of e-invoicing or Fiscalization or post payment process.
  • If the Incognitocheck box is selected for a guest, the user must have Incognito Authorization to view the Guest Name and the Account details. See Incognito Functionality.
Note: 
  • The Tax Invoice tab is disabled in case the Account Type field is set to values such as Credit Card, Gift Card or Advance Deposit
  • The Property Parameter FORCETAXINVONPAYMENT must be selected to enable the Post Payment option.
  • The application displays separate lines for each folio if the Separate Tax Invoice check box is selected on the Tax Invoice Configuration screen and defaults the Payer field based on the value specified on theFolio Settlement.
  • Use the Credit Fiscal Receipt option from the Action menu to select one or more receipts and request the e-invoice partner to create a POS and SPA fiscal note. To enable this option, you must set the FISCAL property parameter value to GR on the Parameter tab of the Property Configuration screen.
  • The Post Interim Payment option can be enabled on the Tax Invoicing tab using the screen.
  • Processing of in-house accounts with un-transferred deposits:
    • An in-house account can have un-transferred deposits, based on the BLOCKDEPOSITTRNSTOGUESTLEDGER property parameter value.
    • When you select the Final check box for a pending invoice line, and click Submit, a message is displayed for the transfer of pending deposits to guest ledger. Possible scenarios:
      • If the system can clearly determine where the deposit must be transferred to, for example, because the deposit has a pre-defined destination folio or because there is only one folio which has charges, the system displays a confirmation message to transfer the deposit automatically.
      • If the system is unable to determine where the deposit must be transferred to, the Folio Wizard screen is displayed wherein you can select the folio for the deposit transfer.
  • If the account has more than one folio with pending invoice and a destination folio is not defined for the deposit, the Folio Wizard screen is displayed wherein you can select the folio for the deposit transfer.

You can generate tax invoices for an account from different screens such as:

  1. Select:
    • Front Desk > Account.
    • Front Desk > Guest Stay.
    • Profiles > Guest Profile
    • Front Desk > Check-Out.
    • Group Sales > Events.
  2. Select an invoice that is in the Final status. By default, the tax invoice details are populated in the Invoice, Type and Status fields in the Tax Invoice Details section.
    Note: The Fiscal Receipt Number field is displayed only when the FISCAL property parameter is set to RO.

  3. Specify this information in the Print section:
    Folio
    The folio is defaulted based on the record that you select. You can modify the folio only for invoices that are in the Pending or Informational status. The invoice is generated based on the folio and you cannot select transactions that you want to include in the tax invoice. The A/R charges are always tax invoiced separately.
    Final
    If you select the check box, system prints the tax invoice number for all the folio transactions that are included in the tax invoice.
    Print
    The invoice is printed and the Print Count is set to one. For every re-print of the invoice, the print count is incremented by one.
    Note: 
    • The Personal Number is included in the Tax Invoice when Guest Payer is selected.
    • The voided Tax Invoices are reprinted with the title ‘Tax Invoice Void’.
    • This check box is not selected when the guest completes an online check-out.
    Post Payment
    If this check box is selected, you can access the Post Payment screen used to generate the final tax invoice. See, Posting a payment.
    Check Out
    If this check box is selected, you can expedite the guest checkout process using the Tax Invoice tab.
    Note: 
    1. This field is enabled only if:
      • The Guest Account is selected.
      • The Departure Date is same as the Hotel Date.
      • The balance for all folios is 0.
      • All the invoices or the last pending invoice is set to Final.
      • The Final check box is selected.
    2. If the FORCETAXINVONPAYMENT property parameter is selected, the Check Out check box is enabled only when:
      • The Guest Account is selected.
      • The Departure Date is same as the Hotel Date.
      • The user selects one of these options:
        • The last pending invoice (Balance is not equal to 0) and the Post Payment check box. See Posting a payment.
        • The last pending invoice (Balance is equal to 0)
        • The Final check box is selected.
    Package Details
    If this check box is selected, the package details are printed by the system. If this check box is clear, the package charges are shown.
    Transaction Summary
    If this check box is selected, the detail lines with the same transaction code are summarized by the system into a single line with sum total.
    Transaction Summary by Date
    If this check box is selected, the detail lines with the same transaction code and posting date are summarized by the system into a single line with sum total.
    Show Net Adjustments
    If this check box is selected, the system consolidates a detail line that has been adjusted with it’s adjustment line into a single line with sum total.
    Transaction Details
    If you select the check box, the package details are printed on the invoice along with other items.
    Group Format
    The check box is enabled only when the folio has transfer charges from other accounts. If you select the check box, additional columns are added by the system to the transaction detail section.
    Date Details
    Date details are applicable for group format only. Normally, the group format summarizes charges by date across accounts and transaction codes. If you select this check box, the dates are printed for all the transactions for each account and charge.
    Group Header
    If you select this check box, the summary of all the accounts is printed on the header page.
    Transaction Grouping
    Select this check box to print transaction codes on the tax invoice grouped by transaction code.
    Include Transaction Comments
    If this check box is selected, the invoice includes all the comments associated with the transactions.
    Note: 
    • The check box is cleared and protected when:
      • The Transaction Summary or Transaction Summary by Date check boxes are selected.
      • The One Line Invoice check box is selected; The Transaction Grouping check box, and the property parameter TAXINVPACKDETAILREQ are not selected.
    • Selecting this check box is not mandatory for Invoice Lines with status Pending and the Final check box selected
    Email
    Select this check box to email the Tax Invoice or the Currency Exchange Receipt to the guest.
    Note: 
    • In the Forms tab of Property Configurationscreen, the subject line and text of the Tax Invoice email can be customized and configured.
    • This check box is selected when the guest completes an online check-out.
    • The value of CURREXCHANGEFOLIO property parameter must be specified to identify the currency exchange transaction.
    Send Fiscal
    The option allows the guest to receive the fiscal receipt in the email address or a text message in the mobile. Available options:
    • SMS
    • Email
    Note: 
    • You must specify the Mobile Number or Email Address based on the selected option.
    • The property parameter Fiscal must be set to RU.
    Email Type
    Specify if the email is of type primary or secondary.
    Email Address
    The email address is defaulted from the Guest Stay page. You can modify the email address.
    Accounting Note
    If this check box is selected, the hotel can claim the pending charges associated to the guest stay with the reservation status set to No Shows or Cancelled. The pending amount that is defaulted in the tax invoice report.
    Note: 
    • This field is enabled if the Property Parameter ACCOUNTINGNOTE is selected in the Property Configuration screen.
    • The user must select the Invoice line with Pending status to process the Accounting Note Information.
    • Based on the Final check box selection the application performs the tax invoice generation:
      • If the Final check box is selected, the application stores the Tax Invoice Data only.
      • If the Final check box is cleared, the application stores and prints the Tax Invoice Informational Data in the tax invoice report.
    Comment
    This field is used to provide additional information about the total invoice generated by the hotel such as the reference number, and date when the hotel receives the money in the bank.
    Receipt Format
    Select this check box to print the final tax invoice in the Receipt Format using the thermal printer.
    Note: 
    • The value must be specified in the TAXINO2 property parameter to invoke the tax invoice.
    • The Final and Print check box must be selected on the Tax Invoicing screen.
    • The file is saved in <InvoiceNumber>RF.pdf format if the location is specified in the property parameter TAXPLC to store the file.
    • If the property parameter SHOWSAVECOPY is selected, a text is included in the original PDF to indicate it as a copy. To position, the Copy Text, the property parameters SMRFSHOWSAVECOPYLR, SMRFSHOWSAVECOPYUD, and SMRFSHOWSAVECOPYV must be specified.
    Peppol e-Invoice
    Select this check box to determine the use of Peppol Interface based on which the tax invoice is sent to Comarch.
  4. Specify this information in the Payer section:
    Payer
    The payer who will pay for the charges specified on the tax invoice. This option is available when invoicing is active. When invoicing is active and the folio is settled separately, the folio can be invoiced separately and requires a payer.
    Name
    The name of the payer.
    Note: 
    • The application displays the respective profile list based on selected Payer type (Guest, Booking Agency, and Organization). However, the list of the payer name is not available for Account, A/R Account, Event, Event Master, Group, House, and Lease payer types.
    • You can click New to create profile for Guest, Booking Agency, and Organization.
    • By default, the name of the payer is populated. You can modify the name of the payer
    Add/Update
    Indicates if the profile of the payer is added or modified.
    Note: A confirmation message is displayed when the record is submitted.
    Contact
    The contact information of the payer.
    Tax ID
    Specify the tax ID of the payer.
    Note: 
    • Tax ID is mandatory, if Country or Fiscal Country of the payer is Spain/Italy.
    • Specifying Tax ID is mandatory if:
      • The TXIDVERF property parameter is set to Spain and Country or Fiscal country of the payer is Spain.
      • The TAXIDREQUIRED property parameter is set to True.
      • The ITALY property parameter is set to True, payer is guest, guest’s nationality is Italy and the ITALYCODICEFISCALE property parameter is not specified. You must specify Codice Fiscale as the value.
      • The ITALY property parameter is set to True, payer is guest, guest’s primary address-country is Italy and ITALYCODICEFISCALE property parameter is set to ‘COUNTRY’. You must specify Codice Fiscale as the value.
    • Specifying Tax ID is not mandatory if:
      • The TXIDVERF property parameter is set to Brazil and Country or Fiscal country of the payer is Brazil.
      • The TXIDVERF property parameter is set to Taiwan, payer is set to Organization and the Country is Taiwan.
    • If the TAXIDREQUIRED property parameter is set to False but the TAXIDREQUIREDCOND property parameter contains a value, Tax ID is mandatory based on conditions such as Tax ID is required only if Payer is set to Organization.
    • If the TAXIDREQUIRED value is set to False but TAXIDREQUIREDCOUNTRIES contains a value, Tax ID is mandatory when the payer country is the same as one of the values of the TAXIDREQUIREDCOUNTRIES property parameter. For example, Tax ID is required only if payer country is Brazil or Uruguay.
    • If TAXIDREQUIRED property parameter is set to False but TAXIDREQUIREDCOND and TAXIDREQUIREDCOUNTRIES property parameters contain a value, Tax ID is mandatory based on both conditions. For example, Tax ID is required only if payer country is Brazil or Uruguay and payer is Organization.
    • For Portugal, if the Payer Tax ID is updated, specifying the Payer Address, Payer City, Payer Postal Code and Payer Country is mandatory.
    e-Invoicing Partner ID
    A unique identification code to identify the e-Invoicing Partner.
    Registration Number
    The registration number of the payer.
    Note: 
    • This value is defaulted from the Property configuration if:
      • The user changes the Payer to House.
      • The Account type is House and the user changes the Payer to Account. The Account has payer information in the Additional Account Details section.
    • When the Account Type is Group, Organization, or Booking Agency and the user changes the payer to Account, the value is defaulted from the corresponding Group, Organization or Booking Agency profile.
    • This field is disabled if:
      • The status of the invoice is set to Final.
      • The Account type is Guest Profile and user changes the Payer to Guest.
      • The Account type is set to other than Guest Profile and the user changes the Payer to Guest.
      • The Account type is Event and the user changes the payer to other than Event, Event Master, Organization, Booking Agency, Group, A/R or House.
    Purchase Order
    The unique number of the purchase order.
    Note: Purchase Order is a legal requirement in Italy.
    Bank Name
    The bank name of the payer.
    Note: 
    • This value is defaulted from the Property configuration if:
      • The user changes the Payer to House.
      • The Account type is House and the user changes the Payer to Account. The Account has payer information in the Additional Account Details section.
    • When the Account Type is Group, Organization, or Booking Agency and the user changes the payer to Account, the value is defaulted from the corresponding Group, Organization or Booking Agency profile.
    • This field is disabled if:
      • The status of the invoice is set to Final.
      • The Account type is Guest Profile and user changes the Payer to Guest.
      • The Account type is set to other than Guest Profile and the user changes the Payer to Guest.
      • The Account type is Event and the user changes the payer to other than Event, Event Master, Organization, Booking Agency, Group, A/R or House.
    Bank Number
    The bank account number of the payer.
    Note: 
    • This value is defaulted from the Property configuration if:
      • The user changes the Payer to House.
      • The Account type is House and the user changes the Payer to Account. The Account has payer information in the Additional Account Details section.
    • When the Account Type is Group, Organization, or Booking Agency and the user changes the payer to Account, the value is defaulted from the corresponding Group, Organization or Booking Agency profile.
    • This field is disabled if:
      • The status of the invoice is set to Final.
      • The Account type is Guest Profile and user changes the Payer to Guest.
      • The Account type is set to other than Guest Profile and the user changes the Payer to Guest.
      • The Account type is Event and the user changes the payer to other than Event, Event Master, Organization, Booking Agency, Group, A/R or House.
    Personal Number
    The personal identification number of the payer.
    Note: 

    This field is enabled only if:

    • The Status of the invoice is set to other than Final.
    • The Account type is Guest and the user changes the Payer to Guest. The value is defaulted from the guest profile.
    • The Account type is not Guest and the user changes the Payer to Guest.
    • The Account type is House and the user changes the payer to a value other than House or AR.
    • The Account type is Event and the user changes the payer to anything other than Event, Event Master, Organization, Booking Agency, Group, A/R or House.
    Address Type
    Specify the address type of the payer. For a guest stay account, you can create a new address for the guest profile. This can be helpful when the guest is associated with a company, but the property does not have a profile for the company. You can put in the company address and select an address type. This address is saved on the guest profile and can be used in future invoices.
    Address
    The address of the payer.
    Country
    The country of the payer.
    City
    The city of the payer.
    State/Province
    The state or province of the payer.
    Postal Code
    The postal code of the area where the payer stays.
    Payer Fiscal Code
    The code to save the fiscal information about the Payer of an invoice.
    Note: 
    • The code type (PAYFIS) is defined on theGlobal Codes screen.
    • The value must be used as Regimen Fiscal Receptor for Mexico e-Invoice Interface when the EINVOICINGPLATFORM property parameter is set to GoSocket.
    Peppol GLN Number
    The Global Location Number (GLN) that is used by Peppol Interface to identify the invoice payer within the Peppol network..
    Note: You must specify this value if Peppol interface is used.
    Peppol GLN Type
    The code of Peppol network (electronic address) associated with the account.
    Note: You must select the Value (PEPELT). The available values are stored in Global Code PEPPELT.
    Peppol Payment Type
    The code of the payment option used in Peppol.
    Note: You must select the Value (PEPELT). The available values are stored in Global Code PEPPELT.
    Peppol e-Invoice
    Select this checkbox to determine that all A/R Invoice for this A/R Account should be sent to Peppol interface with the third-party provider Comarch.
    Note: The Peppol related fields such as Peppol GLN Number, Peppol GLN Type, Peppol Payment Type, Peppol Customer Reference, Peppol Order Reference and Peppol Dimension and the setting of the Peppol e-Invoice checkbox are populated on the Tax Invoice tab when the respective fields have already been updated on Property A/R Account screen or on the contact details of the A/R account.
    Invoice Business Type:
    The code to indicate that the invoice is for a specific business type in the Italy government administration (Pubblica amministrazione). Possible values:
    • Order
    • Contract
    Note: 
    • You must specify this value when the status of the Invoice is Pending.
    • You must define the TINBTY global code on the Global Codes screen.
    Tender Code:
    The CIG (Codice Identificativo Gara / contract code identification) code that is used to identify the Contract business type invoices that are sent to Pubblica amministrazione.
    Project Code:
    The CUP (Codice Unico di Progetto / unique code of project) code that is used in invoices that are sent to Pubblica amministrazione.
  5. Specify this information in the Recipient:
    Name
    The name of the recipient for the tax invoice.
    Note: 

    This enabled only if the status of the invoice is other than Final.

    Personal Number
    The personal identification number of the recipient.
    Note: 

    This enabled only if the status of the invoice is other than Final.

    Private Person
    Indicates if the Payer is an individual.
    Note: 
    • This field is required for Hungary Online Invoicing NAV.
    • This check box is selected by default if :
      • Payer is set to Guest
      • Payer is set to Account and the Account Type is Guest Account or Guest Profiles
    • If the property parameter FORCETAXINVONPAYMENT is selected and the advance deposit is posted, the payer section is updated with the latest data when user selects the tax invoicing line with pending status.
    • The calculated tax amount for a posting is rounded.
    • When printing the tax invoice, the detailed line displays the exact tax amount if the Transaction Summary check box is not selected.
    • The Tax Summary section displays the sum of rounded tax amounts. The rounded tax amount is not used to calculate the Net amount or Tax amount.
    • The difference between the actual tax amount and the rounded tax amount is inevitable.
    • Internal copy is printed only for the final invoices.

    For France specifications, the generated tax invoices include additional data if the FRANCENF525COMPMODE property parameter is selected.

    1. The Invoice Totals are created whenever an Invoice gets printed, emailed or finalized without using the print option. The print can be an informational or the final print/email.

      The Invoice Totals include these tax:

      • Total per Tax (TOTPTAX)- This VAT rate is considered only if the VATTax check box is selected in the Transaction Code screen.

      • Total Ticket (TOTINV)- A record is created for each invoice.

      • Total A/R Account (TOTPAR)- This is displayed only for invoices of type A/R and the settlement is done by direct bill payment. If multiple direct bill payments are linked to one A/R account, only one invoice line is printed and the amount is the sum of all the invoice amounts. If the A/R account differs for the Direct Bill payments, separate records are printed for all the A/R accounts.

    2. All the tax invoices generated as Informational or final tax invoice from the Tax Invoicing tab on the Guest Stay screen, have a signature created electronically.
    Note: For Poland and Czech:
    • The property parameter FORCETAXINVATPAYMENT must be selected.
    • The value of the property parameter FISCAL must be PL (Poland) or CZ (Czech).
    • The status of the invoice must be Pending.
    • For Czech Republic, the generated advance deposit tax invoice includes FIK (Authorization code), BKP (Protection code) and PKP (Signature Code) fields only when:
      • The property parameter CZREPFS is selected.
      • The Pay Type is set to a value other than Direct Bill Transfer andPayment Transfer.
    • If the FORCETAXINVONPAYMENT and ADTAXINV property parameter are selected, usePost Interims Payment option from Actions menu to post an interim payment to the guest folio.
    • The generated advance deposit tax invoice and the final tax invoice also includes the date and time when the invoiced is generated.
    • If the database is running in NF525 mode (property parameter FRANCENF525COMPMODE is selected) you can select or deselect the Never Tax Invoice check box for a House Account on the Account screen only if there is no posting posted.
      Note: If the Never Tax Invoice check box is selected all fields on the Tax Invoice tab are disabled and the values in the Payer and Name fields have defaulted.
    For Peru,
    • If the Fiscalization Type field is set to Boleta or Boleta no Domiciliado, the system considers the existing sequence number specified on the Tax Invoice tab of the Sequence Numbers screen, for Fiscal. The related Credit Notes display the existing sequence number specified on the Tax Invoice tab of the Sequence Numbers screen, for Fiscal Receipt Credit Note.
    • If the Fiscalization Type field is set to Factura or Factura Exportacion, the system considers the existing sequence number specified on the Tax Invoice tab of the Sequence Numbers screen, for Tax Invoice. The related Credit Notes use the existing sequence number specified on the Tax Invoice tab of the Sequence Numbers screen, for Credit Note.
    • If the Fiscalization Type field is set to Boleta or Boleta no Domiciliado and the Invoice Type is Deposit, the system considers the existing sequence number specified on the Tax Invoice tab of the Sequence Numbers screen, for Advance Deposit Fiscal Receipt. The related Credit Notes use the existing sequence number specified on the Tax Invoice tab of the Sequence Numbers screen, for Advance Deposit Fiscal Receipt Credit Note.
    • If the Fiscalization Type field is set to Factura or Factura Exportacion and the Invoice Type is Deposit, the system considers the existing sequence number specified on the Tax Invoice tab of the Sequence Numbers screen, for Advance Deposit Tax Invoice. The related Credit Notes use the existing sequence number specified on the Tax Invoice tab of the Sequence Numbers screen, for Advance Deposit Credit Notice.
    • If the Credit Note Reason INTERNAL is selected, the system considers the existing sequence number specified on the Tax Invoice tab of the Sequence Numbers screen, for Internal. The Fiscalization Type and the Invoice Type are irrelevant.

    For Romania specifications, the final tax invoice (known as Fiscal Invoice) is generated out of a PMS and includes additional data:

    • Property information: Property name, registration number, address, VAT number, number received from Romanian Registry of Commerce, bank name and bank account number.
    • Buyer information:
      • Company/Travel Agent: Name, address, VAT number, number received from Romanian Registry of Commerce, bank name and bank account number.
      • Guest: Name, address and personal code number.
    • Date on which the invoice is generated, invoice number, VAT percentage of the items listed on the invoice, name and the quantity of the charges applied on the items, item unit net price, item total net price.
    • Total VAT value, total net amount, total VAT amount, total gross amount of the item.
    • Operator (the user who generates and prints the invoice) information: Name and personal code number.
    • Recipient information: Name and personal code number.
    • Invoice date and the time when the invoice is generated.

    In Romania, the third-party interface is used to print the fiscal receipt on the fiscal printer. The fiscalization is available for the posted payments and only if the folio balance is zero. You must select the value of Fiscalization Type and the possible values are

    • FISCAL RECEIPT
    • FISCAL RECEIPT + TAX INVOICE.
    • If Fiscalization Type is set to FISCAL, the fiscal receipt number is generated, fiscal receipt is printed, and the invoice status is set to Final. The Fiscal Receipt Number is displayed in the Invoice field.
    • If Fiscalization Type is set to FISCAL RECEIPT + TAX INVOICE, Fiscal Number and Tax Invoice Number are generated, tax invoice is printed, and the invoice status is set to Final. The Fiscal Receipt Number is displayed in the Fiscal Number field and the final Invoice number is shown in the Invoice field.
    • In case, there is an issue with the fiscal printer, an error message in the system and a message by the fiscal printer are displayed.

      To enable the Fiscalization Type field with values:

    • The value of the property parameter FISCAL must be set to RO.
    • The Pending line is selected.
    • The Invoice Type is either Invoice or Deposit.
    • If a wrong payment is posted to a tax invoice, you can correct the invoice by adjusting the payment in the original folio using the Adjust/Discount option from the Actions menu on the Folio tab. The Amount and Percentage fields are protected.
    For Switzerland, when you generate an A/R Invoice using the Tax Invoice – Standard (BJCHTI) screen, the invoice is printed with a QR code. The generated report consists of three parts:
    • Invoice part
    • Receipt part
    • Payment part
    Note: These details are displayed only on the A/R Final Tax Invoice.
    For Turkey, the FISCAL property parameter must be set to TR.
    • When you click the Correct option from the Actions menu and set the invoice status to INTERNAL in the Credit Note Reason window, the system generates an Internal Credit Note to correct the invoice if:
      • The TAXINVOICE CREDITNOTICE REQSN property parameter is set to True.
      • The Final and e-Invoice check boxes are selected for the invoice.
    • When the Final check box is enabled, specifying the Payer Address, Payer City, Payer Tax ID and Payer Country is mandatory before the invoice is submitted.

    For Iceland,

    Note: 
    • The TAXINVCURRENCY property parameter must be selected to include the Property or Guest Currency in the invoice. You can select one of these options in the Currency section:
      • Property – ISK: The invoice amount is printed in Property currency.
      • Guest – USD: The invoice amount is printed in Guest currency.
    • The Lodging Tax (City Tax) is included in the room charge only if the Post as Additional check box is selected on the Tax Groups screen.
    • The Tax Summary section displays the Tax amount. The Lodging tax amount is displayed in the Property currency irrespective of the option selected in the Currency section.
    • The exchange rate is printed when the invoice is generated using Guest Currency.
    • The TAXPLC property parameter must not be selected to print the invoice in currency other than the Property currency.
    The fiscalization of invoice in Russia::
    • The value of the FISCAL property parameter must be set to RU (Russia).
    • The FORCETAXINVONPAYMENT property parameter must be selected.
    • The Invoice Type must be set to Invoice, Credit Note, or Deposit Invoice.
    • The Pay Type must not be Direct Bill.
    • Currency Exchange is not allowed.
    • Void tax invoice is not allowed.
    • Package postings is not allowed to hide the package items and post only one package amount except when the room charge, and other items have the same tax rate
    • City Tax is never posted on invoices in Russia.
    • Paid out postings are not allowed in Russia.
    • The Workstation ID must be specified and the Fiscal Printer must be linked to the Workstation (Using WorkstationID=# in URL)
    • The invoices are sent to the Fiscal Printer which is linked to a workstation.
    • The application validates,
      • The transaction adjustments with positive or negative value (Positive and negative Revenue transaction codes must have the same transaction code).
      • The current Cash Bank Amount for the invoice correction. If the balance amount in the Cash Bank is less than the transaction amount, the application terminates the generation of invoice correction.
    • The final tax invoice is generated after the ‘Fiscalized’ (successful) response is received from the Fiscal Interface.
    • The application saves the details such as Fiscal Receipt ID.
    • On the Guest Details tab, you must specify the value for these fields:

    • On the Organization Profile screen, you must specify the value for these fields:

    • On the Users screen, you must specify the Personal Tax ID.
    • On theAdvance Deposit and Tax Invoicing tab, you must specify the value for these fields:
      • Send Fiscal
      • Email Address
      • Mobile Number
    For Poland, if the balance of the selected folio is more than 450 PLN, the Fiscalization Type field is set to FISCAL RECEIPT + TAX INVOICE. However, if the balance of the selected folio is less than or equal to 450 PLN, the Fiscalization Type field is set to FISCAL RECEIPT.
    • The FISCAL property parameter must be set to PL.
    • The FORCETAXINVONPAYMENT property parameter check box must be selected.
    • The Deposit type is Activity and the required fields must be specified.

    For Vietnam, you can now select the invoice method (Import or Import and Publish) during the e-invoice process. The FISCAL property parameter must be set to VN.

    When the value of FISCAL property parameter is set to PT and the Payer Tax ID field has a value, then the Payer Address, Payer City, Payer Postal Code and Payer Country fields must be specified before printing the tax invoices for Portugal.
