Guest stay shares

Guest stay shares enable you to create and link together individual reservations for multiple guests that are staying in a single room at the same time. Shares can be created for single room reservations only, not multiple room reservations. Shares can also be created for guests staying on a lease. The share enable the guests sharing the room to check-in and out independently and pay separately, and each guest has their own sub-folio account which is linked to the primary guest stay account with a share ID.

The term "share" refers to a room being physically shared by multiple guests. From a guest account perspective, the guests sharing the room will split the cost of the room rate based on the specified Share Percentages, which can be divided evenly or by custom percentages. However, the total of the Share Percentages must be 100% between the primary account and associated sub-folios.
