Pre-registering a guest

You can pre-register a guest who has not checked-in yet. You can pre-register a guest only when the arrival date is same as the hotel date and a room is assigned for all the days a guest plans to stay.

  1. Select Front Desk > Guest Stay.
  2. Create a guest reservation. Refer to Creating guest reservations .
  3. Click Pre-register after you create and save a reservation. The guest reservation is set to the Pre-registered status.
Note: 
  • The time the guest pre-registered is recorded, but not shown on the screen. It is available as a dataspy field.
  • The application sets the reservation status to No Show only if:
    • The EOD process is completed, and the guest has not yet arrived.
    • The Guest Not Present check box is cleared, and the status is set to Pre-Reg Not Present.
