Setting up partner subscriptions

Set up subscriptions for the partner to indicate the outbound transactions/documents that the partner receives. Infor HMS events are sent to a partner based on the subscriptions configured for the partner.

To set up partner subscriptions:

  1. Select Administration > Databridge > Databridge Partners. The List View tab is displayed.
  2. Select the partner for which to view subscriptions, and then click the Subscriptions tab. The Subscriptions tab is displayed.
  3. Specify an event to set up from the Subscriptions list. The system displays the subscription details.
    Caution: 
    The current version of Databridge supports only the subscriptions that are provided by Databridge. If you choose to delete a transaction, you can use the add subscription feature to add the deleted transaction back to the system. To add a partner subscription record, click Add Subscription. The system inserts a new Subscription Details record.
  4. In the Subscription Details and Message Delivery sections, specify this information:
    Event
    Specify the event to add.
    Document Type
    Specify the document type of the event. The document type is used by Databridge internally to determine what kind of message is being sent.
    Enabled
    Select to enable the event.
    Address
    Specify the URL to which outbound documents are sent for the selected event.
    User ID
    Specify the user ID for logging into the receiving system to which outbound documents are sent. Only enter value here if you want something different for this transaction than the one specified for the partner on the Record View tab.
    Special Handling
    Enter the customized processor for special handling the delivery of outbound events.
    Password
    Specify the password for the Databridge server user. Only enter a value here if you enter a value for User ID.
    Log Event Messages
    If this check box is selected, the log messages of the event are stored in the database. The message can be viewed in the Databridge Message Status screen.
    Log Synchronous Messages
    If this check box is selected, a log of the synchronous messages is created.
  5. ClickSave. The subscription is saved and updates the Subscriptions list.
    Note: To delete a partner subscription, select the subscription to delete, and then click Delete Subscription.
