Setting up user groups

Use the User Groups screen to set up the user groups enabling users to have the same privilege when working on similar tasks within the property.

Note:

You can copy the header and child data from one user group to another.
You can also edit user groups as required.

The application is configured by default for the R5 user group. The R5 user group has full access to all functions, including data setup, system setup, and system administration setup. After installing Infor HMS, you must modify the user password. Only the system administrator must provide access to this user.

Note: After setting up users in a user group, the system administrator cannot delete the group. Infor does not recommend using the predefined R5 user group as a default user group, as the menu options and authorizations of this group can be replaced during the system upgrades.
