Configuring guest preference codes
You can configure guest preference codes that identify special requests, services, or amenities guests may require during their stay. Guest preference codes can be added to the guest stay during the reservation process, during check-in, or by editing a guest stay record. Guest preference codes can also be saved to group bookings, guest profiles, organization profiles, and booking agency profiles so that any guest stay that is associated to them will automatically have the guest preference code copied to it. Guest Preference codes can be categorized for efficient searching, be configured to be selectable by a guest or booking agent on the Reservation Portal, and include descriptors.
When configuring a guest preference you can select from three Preference Types:
- Global: The guest preference code is availably globally at all properties and can be configured with a Department Code.
- Property: The guest preference code is only available if it has been added as a property preference at which time it a Department Code can be configured. See Adding property preferences .
