Incognito Functionality
The Incognito enhancement is used to mask the primary name of the guest. This allows the
guest to stay at a property with an alias name to protect their privacy. The hotel can use the
alias name on TV, Phones, Welcome screen and POS.
The Incognito masks only the Primary Guest Name of all the guest who are marked as Incognito on
the Guest Stay record. The guest is considered an Incognito guest when the Incognito check box is selected on the Guest Stay record and
an Alias Name is added. The Incognito functionality is applied to most screens and reports
related to Guest Stay. In the report, the Alias First Name and Last Name fields are not
masked. The guest will be listed under the Alias.
Note:
- The guest name can be viewed only if the user has an incognito authorization. You can add incognito authorization for the user by selecting the Incognito Authorization check box on the Users screen.
- The property parameter NGR and NGR Mobility is enabled.
- If the Incognito is enabled for the guest reservation then the guest is also a Non Registered Guest (NRG).
