Adding the Global Codes value

Use the Global Codes – Code Value tab to add a value for the global code type selected in the List View tab. The screen comprises of List View and Detail View sections. The List View section displays the code values. The Detail View section displays the details of the code value selected in the List View section.
Note: 
  • You cannot add or modify a code value if Code Type or Code Value is System Defined.
  • You can click Actions > Translate to update the Translated Description for the selected language on the Translations screen.
  1. Select Configuration > Global Codes > Code Value tab.
  2. Specify this information in the Detail View section:
    Code Value
    A unique code for the value assigned to the configured Category.
    Code Value Name
    A description of the code value.
    Category
    The category of the Global Code Type associated with the code value.
    Sequence
    The order of the code value within the code type.
    Note: You can specify only a numeric value.
    Status
    The status of the code value. Possible values:
    • Active
    • Inactive
    Property
    The property associated with the code value. Click Associate Property option. The Associate Properties screen is displayed.
    Note: You can select this value only if the Property Level is specified for the selected Global Code.
  3. Click Save.
