Adding traces to contact notes in an A/R account
When you have an important conversation with the contact of an A/R account, you can make note of the conversation as a Contact note in the Notes tab. You can then link a trace to the Contact note to follow up. The contact note is then viewable on the trace record in the Traces tab.
The trace must be set up on the Traces tab prior to linking it. You can only add a trace to a note that's type is Contact.

- Select an A/R Account, click the Notes tab.
- Select a Contact note record to link a trace to.
- Click Traces. and then click
- Specify the information that you require.
