Configuring activity traces
Use to create trace template for the activity. When you add an activity to a guest stay or profile, the traces that you configured on this screen are copied to the Trace tab on the Activity Booking page.
To configure traces:
- Select Administration > Property > Activity > Activity Configuration > Traces.
- Click Add Record.
- Specify this information:
- Topic
- Specify the trace topic.
- Completion Required
- If this check box is selected, the trace must be completed.
- Trace Status
- Specify Active to use the trace.
- User
- Specify the users who can complete the trace.
- Email Address
- Specify the email address at which the trace must be delivered.
- Use Guest Preferred Email
- If this check box is selected, and the trace is added to the Activity Booking page, the guest preferred email address is defaulted in the Email field. The trace is delivered to this email address.
- Department
- Select the department that must complete the trace.
- Trace Delivery Options
- The trace is delivered on the date according to the
selection made in the Trace Delivery Options field:
- Date: Specify this option to deliver the trace on the date specified in the Delivery Date field on Activity Booking page.
- Offset
From: Specify this option to set the
Delivery
Date field according to the option selected
in the Offset
From field along with the number of days
specified in the Days field. Following
are the available values:
- Days after Created Date: Delivery Date is set to the number of days after the guest stay reservation date.
- Days After End Date: Delivery Date is set to the number of days after the guest stay departure date.
- Days After Start Date: Delivery Date is set to the number of days after the guest stay arrival date.
- Days Before End Date: Delivery Date is set to the number of days before the guest stay departure date.
- Days Before Start Date: Delivery Date is set to the number of days prior to the guest stay arrival date.
