Searching room rates and availability in properties

Select Front Desk > Availability > Hotel Availability. The Hotel Availability screen is displayed.
Specify this information:
Property

The property for which the availability information is displayed.
Note:
By default, the value is set to the current session. You can modify this value.

Start Date

The date from which the room rates are displayed for the available rooms.
Note: By default, the date is set to the current hotel date. You can modify this value.

Length of Stay
The stay rate is used to retrieve the rate plans suitable for the guest reservation. Possible values:
- Daily
- Monthly
- Weekly
Note:
By default, the value is set to Daily.
Guests

The number of adults and children for the reservation.
Note: Additionally, you can specify the age of the children.

Sales Strategy

The sales strategy is used to display the available room plans that are applicable for the guest reservation.
Note: By default, the sales strategy defined on the User Group screen for the user is displayed. Else, the value of the SALESSTRATEGY property parameter is displayed. You can use PRESET when value is either specified or defined.

Room Types
The room type of the property for which the room rates are displayed.
Note:

By default, the room types of the Sales Strategy are displayed.

You can select multiple room types.
Rate Plan
The rate plan of the property for which room rates are displayed.
Note:

You can select multiple rate plans.

By default, the room types of the Sales Strategy are displayed.

The search results include only the rate plans with Active status and for which the Lease Rate check box is not selected on the Standard Rate Plan screen.
Group

The group for which the availability is displayed.
Note: You can click View Details to view Group details.

Organization

The organization for which the availability is displayed.
Note: You can click View Details to view Organization details.

Booking Agency

The booking agency for which the availability is displayed.
Note: You can click View Details to view booking agency details.

Currency

The currency in which the room rates are displayed.
Note: By default, the value is set to property currency. However, you can modify this value.

Convert from Property Currency

Select this check box to convert the room rate to the specified Currency.

Shop by Day
Select this check box to display the rate plans for the stay dates irrespective of the restrictions.
- This check box is displayed when the RATESHOPDAILY property parameter is enabled and the EXTAVAIL property parameter is configured.
- The Closed icon is displayed to indicate that the rate is not available for the specific day.
Show Collapsed by Property

Select this check box to display the list of room type collapsed below the Property in the grid.

Show Collapsed by Room Type

Select this check box to display the list of rate plan collapsed below the Room Types of the property in the grid.

Exclude Overbooking Limits

Select this check box to ignore the room availability when overbooked.

Show Restricted Sell Options

Select this check box to include the rate plans that have restriction in the search.

Show Exclusive Rates

Select this check box to display the rate plans for which the Exclusive Rate check box is selected on the Room Rate screen. The exclusive rate is associated with an organization and is displayed only for a reservation associated with that organization.
Click Search to view the room rates based on the specified search criteria.
Select the room rate for guest stay date in the grid. The Availability Details panel is displayed.
Click Reserve to create a guest reservation on the Guest Stay screen.

Note: The property code specified in the Property field must be same as the session property of the user.
