Adding experiences to guest stay

  1. Select Call Center from the menu. The Call Center screen is displayed.
  2. Click the guest reservation record on the Recent Reservations widget, or create a new reservation or modify an existing reservation.
  3. Select Experiences in the Navigation pane. The Experiences screen is displayed.
    Note: 
    • The non-room items must be configured for the property in HMS.
    • The experiences screen is not available for the guest stay if the Departure Date is same as the current Hotel Date.
  4. Click the respective tab to view the item cards.
    Note: 
    • You can also search the item using the Search option. The application searches for the specific text in the Experience Title or Experience Description.
    • You can view the price of the item in a specific currency if Currency is specified and the Convert from Property Currency check box is selected on the Call Center landing page or Call Center Rate Shopping screen.
  5. Click the ellipsis at the top of the card to view the Advance Modify window.
    Note: 
    • You can also specify the quantity and click Select in the card to add the item to shopping cart.
    • You can click the Reserve option of an external experience to open an external (third-party) website in a different tab of the browser. The external experiences are not added to the shopping cart. When configuring in HMS for external experience the CRS Category field must have a value in the Online Guest Portal Configuration tab.
  6. Modify the required details in the Advance Modify window:
    Quantity
    The number of items required for a specific date.
    Frequency
    The period in which the item is priced for the guest.
    Pricing Control
    The rate in which the item is priced for the guest.
    Note: The Frequency and Pricing Control can be changed based on the item configuration at property level.
    Dates
    The date on which the item is linked to the guest stay.
    Folio
    The folio account that is used to post the item charges.
    Comments
    The additional information specific to the item.
    Note: You must specify the details for the items that require additional information. For example, pick up time for limo service.
    Room Package
    Select this check box if the item must be included as Package on the Fly.
    Note: You must specify the package name.
  7. Click Select to update the shopping cart.
    Note: If the item is selected for different dates, multiple line items are included.
