Defining Coupons Pages

Use the Coupon Page Configuration screen for creating coupon pages for a guest stay.

  1. Select Administration > Configuration > Coupon Configuration > Coupon Page Configuration.
  2. Specify this information:
    Coupon Page ID
    The name of the coupon.
    Coupon Page Type
    The coupon page type is used to view the different coupons issued to the guest for reservation activities that are valid in the specified period. For example: COPPTP.

    This coupon type is added using the Global codes screen.

    Select the required coupon page type.

    Track
    Select the track code that must be associated to the Coupon Page.
    Note: You can create and modify the track codes using the Create Track Code.
    Valid Start Date
    The Valid Start Date is the first date the Coupon is available to be redeemed.
    Valid End Date
    The Valid End Date is the last date the Coupon is available to be redeemed.
    Property
    The property name associated for availing the privileges of the created coupons.
    Status
    Select the status for the coupon while creating a new one.
    Note: By default, this field is set to Active status.
  3. Specify or review this information on the Coupon Page Details section.
    Coupon
    Select the Footers that must be associated to the Coupon page.
    Footer
    Select the Individual Coupons that must be associated to the Coupon page.
  4. Click Preview Coupon Page, to view the Coupon Configuration Report.
  5. Click Add Comment on the Comments tab to format the comments related to the coupon on the Add/Edit Comments screen.
  6. Click Create/Upload Document on the Documents tab, to include these Document Method details on the Create/Upload Document screen:
    • Document Code
    • Property
    • Upload Document
    • Create File System Document
  7. Click Submit
  8. Select the Translations tab for translating the Coupon page description into other languages. For example a hotel has English speaking employees and Spanish speaking employees. The Translations tab must have 2 records, one for each installed language. Select the Spanish record to translate the coupon description into Spanish.
  9. Click Save.
