Configuring the widget

  1. Select Administration > Widget Configuration. The Widget Configuration screen is displayed.
  2. Specify this information:
    Widget Code
    The code of widget to which the screen and report are linked.
    Link Page
    The code of the screen which can be accessed from the widget.
    Note: By default, the generic widget configuration settings are considered.
    Link Dataspy
    The dataspy of the selected screen. The widget displays the records of selected dataspy.
    Note: By default, the widget considers the default dataspy of the selected screen.
    Report
    The code of the report which can be printed from the widget.
    Note: By default, the generic widget configuration settings are considered.
    Banner Widget
    Indicates that the widget is a banner widget on the Insights screen. The application sets this check box based on the generic widget configuration.
    Available for Widget Board
    Indicates that the widget is added to the Insights screen. The application sets this check box based on the generic widget configuration.
    Property
    The property to which the widget is available. The application defaults this value.
    Note: You can modify this value.
    Status
    The status of the widget.
  3. 3. Click Save.
    Note: The defaults of the widget are configured only by the system Administrator.
