Adding comp template to a rate plan

Use the Property Rate Plan – Comp Templates tab to associate one or more comp templates to the rate plan. When a rate plan is selected, the application automatically associates the comp template of the rate plan to the guest reservation. The application also creates the Folio Comp Configuration record with the comp template.

This feature is enabled for the casino hotels with configured player comp rates. The application posts a transfer rate to the guest folio so that the casino is charged for the comped rooms. Consequently, the casino hotels do not charge the guest, when a comp template is associated with the reservation..

To add a comp template:

  1. Select Rate and Sales > Pricing > Property Rate Plan – Comp Template tab.
  2. Specify this information:
    Comp Template
    The code of the comp template configured for the property. The application populates the description of the comp template.
  3. Click Save.
    Note: All the comp templates associated with the rate plan of the property, are displayed in the detail section.
