Proposal Status

The status of a proposal reflects its progress in the service order flow.

Description

The status describes what has or has not been created from a service assignment proposal. The valid status combinations are listed below.

10 Assignment proposal is entered.
19 Attempt to create service order header for proposal failed.
20 Service order header created for proposal.
29 Attempt to create assignment for proposal failed.
30 Assignment is created for proposal.
39 Attempt to create service order lines for proposal failed.
60 Service order header, assignments and lines created for proposal.

Status 10

Status 10 is assigned when the proposal is entered.

Status 19

Status 19 is assigned when option 11 = Create SO is specified for the proposal, or if service orders should be created immediately but an attempt to create the service order header has failed. An error message is displayed as when manually entering service orders in program ‘Service Order. Open’ (SOS100). The error message is displayed in the detail panel for the proposal. After the error is corrected, option 11 can be used again.

Status 20

Status 20 is assigned when the service order header is created without any errors. Right after this status is assigned, an attempt is made to automatically create a service assignment for the proposal.

Status 29

Status 29 is assigned when an attempt to create a service assignment for the proposal has failed. An error message is displayed as when manually entering service orders in program ‘Service Order. Open Assignment’ (SOS110). The error message is displayed in the detail panel for the proposal. After the error is corrected, option 11 can be used again.

Status 30

Status 30 is assigned when the service assignment is created without any errors. Right after this status is assigned, an attempt is made to automatically create service order lines for the proposal. The lines are only created if a service expense, alias number or service kit was specified in the proposal. If not, status 30 is then the highest status assigned to this proposal. However, the proposal can later be updated with this information, and option 11 can be used again.

Status 39

Status 39 is assigned when an attempt to create service order lines for the assignment created from the proposal has failed. An error message is displayed as when manually entering service orders in program ‘Service Order. Open Line’ (SOS120). The error message is displayed in the detail panel for the proposal. After the error is corrected, option 11 can be used again.

Status 60

Status 60 is assigned when the service order header, assignments and lines are created for the proposal without any errors.
