Work with Individual Items per Customer Site

This procedure is used to display all individual items for a specific customer site. It can also be used to request service on several individual items for the same service order. Finally, individual items belonging to the customer site can be entered and updated.

Before you start

Customers and addresses (if any) must be entered. In order to display individual items for the customer site, they must be registered against the selected site.

Follow these steps

  1. Select 'Customer Site. Display' (SOS104) or 'Service Order. Open' (SOS100).

  2. If you selected SOS104, specify option 15 = Ind item/site for the selected customer site. 'Customer Site. Display Individual Items' (SOS101) is then displayed. If you selected program SOS100, go to step 5.

  3. Specify option 11 = Crt assignment for all individual items for which service assignments should be created. A service order header belonging to the service order type in SOS101/P is then created automatically. To display all service assignments (both completed and incomplete) for a site and individual item (if any), specify option 12 = Assignment/Site. If no more activities should be done, go to step 6.

  4. To change an individual item, specify option 13 = Wrk indiv items. To create sub-individual-items, specify option 14 = Crt sub-ind-itm. These sub-individual-items inherit information from the selected individual item such as individual item number, location, etc. Regardless of the option specified, 'Individual Item. Open' (SOS419) is run according to the panel sequence for this program (panels A and B are not displayed as opening panels). After the entire panel sequence is processed in SOS419, the opening panel is displayed, and more individual items can be created for the selected customer site.

  5. If SOS100 was selected in step 1, press function key F11 = Ind items/site for the specified customer site. 'Customer Site. Display Individual Items' (SOS101) is called. In this case, service assignments cannot be created using option 11 = Addresses. However, the program can be used to select an individual item for program SOS100 if you specify option 1 = Create/select for the selected individual item.

  6. To return to the previous program, press F3 = End.
