Define Rules for Agreement Location

This document explains how you change the settings for working with an agreement location.

These settings are used when you want to:

Before you start

Basic data for the service agreement must have been entered. See Processing Service Agreement.

Follow These Steps

  1. Start 'Service Agrmt. Open' (SAS100/B). Highlight a service agreement and select option 15 to start 'Service Agrmt. Connect Customer Site' (SAS110).

  2. Press F13 to display the P panel.

    Select whether to edit or enter a service agreement

  3. Select one of the following alternatives:

    • To define rules for connecting the customer site to a service agreement, go to step 5.
    • To edit an existing service agreement, go to step 4.
  4. Type B in the 'Opening panel' field. Go to step 9 to specify the panel sequence.

  5. Type A in the 'Opening panel' field.

  6. Specify a panel sequence in (SAS110).

    Specify the cursor's placement in (SAS110/A)

  7. Specify in the Line and Position fields the row and position that you want the cursor to be placed at every time you start (SAS110).

    The fields below are only used when copying service agreements

  8. Specify whether the following information on the original service agreement is to be copied:

    • Location - in the 'Copy site' field
    • Service manager - in the 'Copy service manager' field
    • Validity time – in the 'Copy valid time' field
    • Invoice range – in the 'Copy invoice range' field
    • Agreement location text - in the 'Copy site text' field
    • Agreement lines - in the 'Copy lines' field
    • Prices on the agreement lines - in the 'Copy Price' field
    • Line text - in the 'Copy line text' field
    • Meter price schedule of the individual item - in the 'Copy meter price schedule' field.
  9. Specify which panel sequence is to be used when you copy service agreements in the lower 'Panel sequence' field.

  10. Press Enter to start (SAS110).

Parameters to Set

Program ID/Panel Field The field indicates …
(SAS110/P) Opening Panel

…which panel is to be opened when you start 'Service Agrmt. Connect Customer Site' (SAS110).

The valid alternatives are:

Panel A - used to register a service agreements.

Panel B – used to change an existing service agreements.

(SAS110/P) Panel sequence

…the panels to be displayed and the order in which they appear in (SAS110).

The valid alternatives are:

E = Detail panel for service manager, technicians, work schedule, debiting code and internal agreement customer number

F = Detail panel for validity date and invoicing range

G = Detail panel for revenue ID

H = Detail panel for user-defined fields

T = Text per site

1 = (SAS113)

5 = (SAS120)

6 = Pre-text for the site

7 = Post-text for the site.

(SAS110/P) Line

…whether the cursor is positioned on a particular row, and in a particular field, when you start (SAS100/A).

For this setting to work, the Row field must be used in conjunction with the Position field described below.

(SAS110/P) Position

…whether the cursor is to be positioned at a particular vertical position in a particular field when you start (SAS100/A).

For this setting to work, the Position field must be used in conjunction with the Position field described above.

Common guidelines for the Line and Position fields

You can use the cursor-positioning feature in (SAS100/A) if you begin entering service order headers at the same field every time.

For the cursor-positioning feature to work, you must fill in both the Row and Position fields in (SAS100/P).

Since the positioning feature was developed for a text-based M3 user interface, you must specify a row and position, instead of a field name.

Use the values from the table below to position the cursor in (SAS100/A).

The fields below are only used when copying an agreement location
(SAS110/P) Copy site

…whether the address connected to the agreement location is to be copied.

The valid alternatives are:

If the address is not copied it must be entered manually in (SAS100/C)

(SAS110/P) Panel Sequence

…which panels should be displayed when making changes and inquiries, as well as the sequence in which they appear.

The valid alternatives are:

E = Detail panel for service manager, technicians, work schedule, debiting code and internal agreement customer number

F = Detail panel for validity date and invoicing range

G = Detail panel for revenue ID

H = Detail panel for free agreement fields

T = Text per site

1 = 'Service Agrmt. Connect Site Charge' (SAS113)

5 = 'Service Agrmt. Open Lines' (SAS120)

6 = Pre-text for the site

7 = Post-text for the site.

(SAS110/P) Copy service manager

…whether the service manager of the original location is to be copied to the new location.

If the new agreement location will have a different service manager this is entered manually in (SAS110/C).

Selecting a service manager is usually used to geographically connect a customer to a service department.

(SAS110/P) Copy validity time

…whether the validity time is to be copied to the new agreement location.

If the new agreement location will have a different validity time this is entered manually in (SAS110/C).

(SAS110/P) Copy invoice range

…whether the original invoice range (the time between invoices) is to be copied to the new location.

If the new agreement site will have a different invoice range this is entered manually in (SAS110/C).

(SAS110/P) Copy site text

…whether the original agreement location text is to be copied to the new location.

If the agreement location will have a different site text this is entered in (SAS110/C) or (SAS110/T).

(SAS110/P) Copy lines

…whether the individual item on the original agreement location are to be copied to the new location.

If the agreement location will have different individual items, these are entered in 'Service Agrmt. Open Lines' (SAS120).

(SAS110/P) Copy price

…whether the price on the agreement line is to be copied.

If the agreement location will have different individual items, these are entered in (SAS120).

(SAS110/P) Copy line text

…whether the agreement line text of the original agreement location is to be copied to the new agreement location.

If the agreement location will have different agreement line texts these are entered in (SAS120).

(SAS110/P) Copy meter price Schedule

…whether the meter price schedule for the individual item in the agreement location is to be copied to the new location.

If the agreement location will have different individual items with different meter price schedules, these are entered in 'Individual Item. Open Meter Details' (SOS418).
