This document explains how you move old and unused service agreements from the current database to a filing database.
Inactive service agreements are moved from the current database to a filing database. The service agreements can then be stored on any kind of media, for example, tape or CD-ROM.
The filing function is used to move old data from the active database to a filing database. The next step is to move the data to other media outside the system, for example, tape or CD-ROM.
Specify the "to" and "from" databases in Settings – Filing (CRS799).
Start 'Settings - Filing' (CRS799/E).
Examine and, if necessary, change the libraries in the 'From library' and/or 'To library' fields.
Press Enter to save the settings.
Start 'Service Agrmt. File' (SAS090).
Select agreement/agreements by pressing F4 in one or more of the upper fields for selection criteria. If more than one field is selected, sorting order for the selection criteria has to be indicated.
Press Enter to move the selected service agreements from the current database to the filing database. The filing job is submitted.
Press F3 to finish.
