Invoicing Leasing Agreement

This document explains how you process an invoice for a leasing agreement.

Before you start

A valid agreement with records ready for invoicing must exist in 'Leasing Agreement. Open' (LTS100)

Follow These Steps

  1. Create invoice proposal

    You create an invoice proposal when the leasing agreement is to be invoiced. The agreement period can be invoiced in advance or in arrears. What is invoiced is determined by the next order date on the agreement line. The selection criteria for invoicing can, among other things, be certain agreements, payers and individual item numbers.

    You create an invoice proposal in 'Leasing Invoice Proposal. Create' (LTS800)

  2. Confirm invoice proposal

    Once the invoice proposal is created, each agreement can be examined before confirmation. If any invoice line needs to be adjusted, the change is made in the actual agreement, after which a new proposal is generated.

    You confirm invoices in 'Leasing Invoice Proposal. Open' (LTS810), and change the agreement in 'Leasing Agreement. Open' (LTS100)

  3. Create order for invoice leasing agreement

    You invoice the agreement by creating a fictitious service order, where the agreement header is converted to a service order header and the agreement lines are changed to service order lines.

    This service order immediately gets status 60=Finished reporting, and is ready for invoicing.

  4. Print invoice

    You invoice the fictitious service order like any other service order in 'SO Invoice. Print' (SOS180). After you have printed the invoice, the invoicing interval and the 'Invoice to' date are updated. At the same time, sales statistics, the individual item history, post-calculation and the general ledger are updated.
