This document describes how to create project quotations, calculate costs and revenues, and schedule the activities that are to be performed when the quotation is accepted and leads to a project.
The process is completed when the customer or prospect has responded to the project quotation, and, if accepted, the quotation is transferred to a project order. Preparing the quotation can also be run as its own project.

The scope of the project is determined when it is created. The necessary information such as the customer or prospect, delivery terms, etc. is then specified.
Quotation management involves the activities following the completion of the project quotation for review, up to when the response is received. Then the quotation is either closed or transferred to a project order.
