Define Work Order Type Specific Report Sequence

This document explains how you define a report sequence that is specific for a work order type.

Use this instruction when you want a specific report sequence for a certain type of work, for example work originating from complaints.

Outcome

A sequence which will be used during WO reporting is defined.

The report sequence will be automatically used for all orders using this order type.

The information is stored in the 'Work order type report sequence' (MOORRS) table.

Before you start

A work order type must exist in 'Work Order Type. Open' (MOS120).

Follow these steps

  1. Start 'Work Order Type. Open' (MOS120/B).

  2. Highlight the work order type for which a report sequence is to be defined and select option 14='Report Sequence' to display 'WO Type Report Sequence. Open' (MOS118).

  3. On the B panel, enter the start program and the sequence number of the target program. Select Create to display the E panel.

  4. On the E panel, enter the target program and an optional sorting order and panel sequence. Press Enter to save and return to the B panel.

    The available programs to jump to are: 'Work Order. Close' (MOS050), 'WO Operation. Report' (MOS070), 'As-Built Structure. Update Removal/Inst' (MOS125), 'Equipment. Report Meter Reading' (MOS160), 'Work Request. Open Line' (MOS171) and 'Complaint. Open' (MOS500).

    It is now possible to add more programs to jump to.

  5. Enter the original start program and the second sequence number. Select Create to display the E panel.

    Note: The start program should be the same as the one entered on the B panel.
  6. On the E panel, enter the target program and an optional sorting order and panel sequence. Press Enter to save and return to the B panel.

    Repeat steps on the E panel to add more programs.
